Diversa is a resultant of my explorations in equitable design, specifically in the ways to implement accessibility in the design itself - rather than as an afterthought. Inspired by Open Dyslexic, Diversa is a typeface crafted for people with Alexic [reading] disabilities in mind, using deliberate glyph features that can make it easier to distinguish between letterforms. With the guidance of the Accessibility Resource Center at TCNJ, Diversa combines the graphic elements of a vision-friendly font with modern aesthetics - to be both chic and functional.
